رئيس مجموعة البنك الدولي أجاي بانغا يزور مصنع جيوشي لمراجعة البرنامج الرائد للحافلات الكهربائية للقاهرة

استقبلت شركة جيوشي لصناعة وسائل ، إحدى الشركات الرائدة في قطاع تصنيع المركبات في مصر، السيد/ أجاي بانغا، رئيس مجموعة البنك الدولي، والوفد المرافق له ،خلال زيارة ميدانية رفيعة المستوى إلى مصنع الشركة المتطور بمدينة العاشر من رمضان، حيث إطّلع على سير العمل في مبادرة الحافلات الكهربائية التي تدعم تحسين جودة الهواء وتطوير منظومة النقل العام في القاهرة.

ورافق السيد/ بانغا وفد من مسؤولي مجموعة البنك الدولي وعدد من كبار ممثلي الحكومة المصرية، من بينهم محافظ القاهرة والرئيس التنفيذي لهيئة النقل العام بالقاهرة، وتركزت الزيارة على البرنامج المدعوم من البنك الدولي لصالح حكومة جمهورية مصر العربية من خلال وزارة البيئة، بهدف تعزيز جودة الهواء في القاهرة الكبرى عبر مجموعة من المشروعات الداعمة للاستدامة، وفي مقدمتها إدخال (100) حافلة مدينة كهربائية بطول إثني عشر مترا إلى أسطول هيئة النقل العام بالقاهرة، لتعمل داخل العاصمة دون انبعاثات.

وقد فازت شركة جيوشي لصناعة وسائل النقل ، بالشراكة مع مزود التكنولوجيا الصيني شركة Zhongtong، بالعقد بعد ترسية المناقصة التي طرحتها وزارة البيئة ضمن الإطار المدعوم من البنك الدولي. وتستمر أعمال التصنيع حاليا لتوريد الأسطول الجديد تمهيدا لتشغيله في أنحاء العاصمة.
وخلال الزيارة، قام السيد/ بانغا والوفد المرافق له بجولة موسعة داخل مصنع جيوشي لصناعة وسائل النقل التي تبلغ مساحته 100 ألف متر مربع، حيث اطّلعوا على مراحل الإنتاج الرئيسية، وعلى القدرات الصناعية للشركة وأنظمة الجودة المعتمدة لديها، وشملت الجولة معاينة أول حافلة كهربائية مكتملة تم إنتاجها ضمن البرنامج.

كما استعرض الوفد عرض منتجات جيوشي الأوسع من المركبات التجارية التي تطورتها الشركة بالتعاون مع شركاء دوليين ومزودي تكنولوجيا من أوروبا وآسيا والأمريكتين.
ويحقق البرنامج بالفعل مردودا اجتماعيا واقتصاديا ملموسا، من خلال توسيع القوى العاملة لدى جيوشي لتلبية متطلبات الإنتاج، وتعزيز التعاون مع الموردين المصريين عبر التطوير الفني وزيادة نسب المكون المحلي، إلى جانب نقل وتوطين تكنولوجيا المركبات الكهربائية بالكامل، بما يدعم مكانة مصر كمركز إقليمي لتصنيع حلول النقل المستدام.

وأعرب السيد /خالد جيوشي، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة جيوشي لصناعة وسائل النقل عن سعادته باستقبال ، السيد/ أجاي بانغا في مصنع جيوشي والاطلاع معه على تقدم هذا المشروع الوطني المهم.
وقال إن “هذا البرنامج يدعم تحسين جودة الهواء في القاهرة ويعزز الأساس لمنظومة نقل عام مستدامة في مصر”.

وأضاف “في جيوشي نلتزم بتقديم حلول تنقل عالمية المستوى ومسؤولة بيئيا، بما يتماشى مع أولويات مصر وأجندة الاستدامة العالمية،كما نزيد استثماراتنا في البحث والتطوير في مجال الطاقة الخضراء لدعم توطين المكونات الرئيسية للمركبات الكهربائية، بما في ذلك بطاريات تخزين الطاقة والمواد المركبة المستدامة خفيفة الوزن. ولدعم النمو طويل الأجل في تصنيع الحافلات الكهربائية .

وأشار  إلى أن الشركة ستضيف مساحة 40 ألف متر مربع إلى نطاق المصنع الحالي مخصصة لتوسيع إنتاج الحافلات الكهربائية.

وتعد جيوشي لصناعة وسائل النقل من الشركات الرائدة في تصنيع المركبات في مصر والمنطقة من خلال مصنعها في مدينة العاشر من رمضان الذي تبلغ مساحته 100 ألف متر مربع، وتوظف أكثر من( 1200) من الكفاءات المتخصصة، بطاقة إنتاج سنوية تصل إلى 5 آلاف وحدة، ومن خلال شراكات ممتدة مع نخبة من الشركاء العالميين، وتنتج جيوشي مجموعة متنوعة من الحافلات والشاحنات ومركبات الركاب لخدمة الأسواق المصرية والإقليمية.

كما تصدر الشركة منتجات مصممة وفق احتياجات الأسواق إلى أوروبا وإفريقيا وآسيا، وتشمل حافلات سياحية بطول اثني عشر مترا مبنية على هياكل MAN وVolvo وDAF وZhongtong وFAW، إلى جانب حافلات داخل مدينة بطول اثني عشر مترا وميني باص بطول ثمانية أمتار يتم توريدها إلى أسواق المنطقة ودول العالم .

World Bank President Ajay Banga Visits Geyushi Automotive Industries to Review Landmark Electric Bus Program for Cairo

Geyushi Automotive Industries, a leading manufacturer in Egypt’s automotive sector, welcomed Mr Ajay Banga, President of the World Bank, to its advanced manufacturing facility in 10th of Ramadan City, where he reviewed progress on a major fully electric bus initiative supporting cleaner air and modern public transport in Cairo.

Mr Banga was accompanied by a delegation of World Bank officials and senior Egyptian government representatives, including the Governor of Cairo and the Chief Executive Officer of the Cairo Transport Authority. The visit focused on a World Bank supported program provided to the Government of Egypt, through the Ministry of Environment, aimed at enhancing air quality in Greater Cairo through a series of sustainability driven projects focused on reducing carbon emissions and minimizing the city’s overall carbon footprint, including the introduction of one hundred electric twelve meter city buses that will join the Cairo Transport Authority fleet and operate with zero emissions.

Geyushi Automotive Industries, in partnership with the Chinese technology provider Zhongtong, was awarded the contract following a tender issued through the Ministry of Environment under the World Bank supported framework. Manufacturing is underway to deliver the new fleet for operation across the capital.

During the visit, Mr Banga and the delegation toured Geyushi’s 100,000 square meter facility, reviewed key production stages, and observed the company’s manufacturing capabilities and quality systems. A central highlight was the inspection of the first completed electric bus produced under the program. The delegation also reviewed Geyushi’s broader portfolio of commercial vehicles, developed in collaboration with international partners and technology providers from Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

The program is already generating meaningful socio economic benefits, including the expansion of Geyushi’s workforce to meet production requirements, stronger cooperation with Egyptian suppliers through technical development and increased localization, and the transfer and localization of fully electric vehicle technology, supporting Egypt’s positioning as a regional hub for sustainable transport manufacturing.
