مصر وبيلاروسيا تبحثان توسيع التعاون في قطاع التأمين

التقى سفير جمهورية بيلاروسيا فوق العادة والمفوض لدى جمهورية مصر العربية، يفغيني سوبوليفسكي، مع رئيس الهيئة المصرية للرقابة المالية، الدكتور محمد فريد صالح، لمناقشة تعزيز وتوسيع التعاون الثنائي في القطاع المالي، وتحديداً في مجال التأمين.
ركز اللقاء على نقطتين رئيسيتين:
- تسجيل شركة إعادة تأمين بيلاروسية: ناقش الطرفان إجراءات تسجيل شركة بيلاروسية لإعادة التأمين وبدء عملياتها في السوق المصري.
- تعديل مذكرة التفاهم (MOU): بحث الجانبان إمكانية توقيع تعديلات على مذكرة التفاهم والتعاون الثنائي القائمة بين وزارة المالية في جمهورية بيلاروسيا والهيئة المصرية للخدمات المالية، والمؤرخة في 30 أبريل 2024. ويهدف التعديل المقترح إلى توسيع نطاق الوثيقة لتشمل قطاع التأمين، وهو ما سيتم توقيعه من قبل الجهات التنظيمية لسوق التأمين في البلدين.
ولمتابعة تنفيذ هذه الاتفاقيات، من المقرر أن يتم مناقشة المسائل الفنية المتعلقة بها خلال اجتماع مباشر عبر الإنترنت يجمع المسؤولين المعنيين في بيلاروس ومصر.
ويأتي هذا اللقاء في إطار حرص البلدين على تعميق الشراكة الاقتصادية وتسهيل عمل الشركات البيلاروسية في السوق المصري، بما يعزز التبادل والخبرات في القطاع المالي والتأميني.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Evgueni Sobolevski, met with the Chairman of the Financial Regulatory Authority of Egypt, Dr. Mohamed Farid Saleh, to discuss strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation in the financial sector, specifically in the field of insurance.
The meeting focused on two key points:
- Registration of a Belarusian Reinsurance Company: The parties discussed the procedures for registering a Belarusian reinsurance company and initiating its operations in the Egyptian market.
- Amendment of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU): The two sides explored the possibility of signing amendments to the existing Memorandum of Understanding and Bilateral Cooperation between the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus and the Financial Regulatory Authority of Egypt, dated April 30, 2024. The proposed amendment aims to extend the document’s scope to include the insurance sector, which will be signed by the insurance market regulators in both countries.
To follow up on the implementation of these agreements, the technical aspects are planned to be discussed during a direct online meeting involving the responsible agencies in Belarus and Egypt.
This meeting reflects the commitment of both countries to deepen their economic partnership and facilitate the work of Belarusian companies in the Egyptian market, thereby enhancing exchange and expertise in the financial and insurance sectors.
